Before receiving any treatments below, you should avoid:
Exfoliating: Avoid harsh scrubs, peels, or other exfoliating treatments for 5 days before service.
Waxing, Shaving, or Plucking: Wait at least 24-48 hours before your facial to avoid irritated skin.
Sun Exposure: Avoid tanning beds & sunbathing for at least a week before you facial. Sunburned skin can be more sensitive & may not respond well to certain treatments.
Using Retinol Products: Retinol & other protent ingredients can make skin more sensitive & increase the likelihood of irritation Discontinue these products 7 days before and after service.
Using Strong At-Home Facial Treatments: Avoid any strong at-home facial treatments the week before your appointment.
Drinking Coffee: Avoid caffeine for at least 24 hours before your facial to help you relax.
Taking Certain Medications: Consult Your Esthetician about any oral medications you are taking, as some can thin the skin.

Face Reality Chemical Peel

Chemical peels are amazing treatments to reduce or improve fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scars, uneven tone, texture, pigmentation, and other skin imperfections. They not only are effective in renewing the top layers of the skin, but also work to keep the lower layers of the skin active by boosting collagen and elastin production – maintaining skin health from within. Different chemicals determine the depth of your peel based on the type of skin condition looking to be treated. We provide both light superficial peels that will result in little to no peeling, and medium depth peels that will provide deeper resurfacing to address more advanced concerns. Single treatments are beneficial to anyone looking to refresh their skin and receive a deep exfoliation, however, a series of 3-6 peels is typically necessary to correct more advanced concerns.
